Jack Herer Feminized Green House Seeds Company

Jack Herer was released as a tribute to the cannabis activist and writer of the same name. A winner of many High Times Cannabis Cups, it is one of the most famous cannabis strains alongside the Haze and Skunk varieties that formed the foundation of the scene in the 1980s and 1990s. Its highly complex and distinctive flavor, along with its astonishing high, has made it a fixture in the cannabis scene in Amsterdam and the US.

Jack Herer is a beautiful, tall plant with a Christmas tree shape typical of Haze strains, with strong branches bearing several long colas covered in shiny trichomes. The buds aren't the most compact, but the buds appear all over the plant, and under certain conditions, the entire plant is covered in trichomes right up to the stem, producing a very strong psychoactive high.

The smell of Jack Herer is a very complex bouquet of woody and piney notes inherited from the Haze parent plant. This typical woody scent, almost like incense or church, is combined with the added sweetness of Skunk and an almost metallic background on the exhale. This is a very complex, yet beautiful and satisfying strain to smoke, with a powerful and long-lasting effect on both body and mind. The most prominent terpenes are terpinolene, α-pinene, and β-caryophyllene.
